What is FLC?
Family Leadership Conference is a weekend event designed for any size church or group. The goal is to give church leaders, husbands, and wives a vision of Christ’s gospel that will stand the test of time from generation to generation and the practical teaching that will help you in your daily family life. The group oriented, relaxed atmosphere is structured not only to confront you with the truth but gives a platform to know and understand your needs as the leaders of your family. We build on this understanding in order to meet your needs and give personal discipleship that encourages and strengthens you as a Christ centered family.
We use small group interaction, practical, biblically based teaching, and concentrated Q&A, to impassion, help envision, and equip them to know why they have families, what are their priorities, and where they want to go and be in the future.
How to Host a FLC?
Any church or group can host a Family Leadership Conference. The prerequisites for hosting a Conference are as follows:
- On sight coordinator (pastor, elder, deacon, group leader, etc.)
- Small Group facilitators (amount depending on size of group)
- Facility/location
- Expense Coverage/love offering
- Housing for V4L Staff
- Conference Meal Coordination (if you so choose)
