Make sure to check out the following pilot episode in the series ‘Is Church Important?’  Building up to P4C13, we want to develop the concept of the importance of the local church from a personal level – interviews with real people from a real local church.  Why?  Because this year’s theme is ‘The Body: God’s Plan for the Local Church’.

This pilot episode is an interview with Jeff Knight – elder at Westwood Church, home church of the Cavanaugh family.

Just a few quick updates…

Ecuador

Charles and Pam finally arrived home from Ecuador this morning.  Pam reports: “some of you are asking if we are home. After much hardships with airports and luggage… We got home this morning around 11:00 a.m. I went straight to bed for most of the day. We were suppose to get home Tues. but a series of events in a Miami Airport had us awake for 28 hours straight. I also came home with a severe sore throat but I also came home leaving part of my heart in Ecuador and have been so blessed to have had the privilege to minister in that country. Thanks to all who prayed because your prayers were answered and much needed. I plan to write more on my mission trip on my blog on Vision4Living.org. stay tuned ”

Passion4Christ

Registrations continue to come in steadily for Passion4Christ 2012! Praise the Lord!  We are so excited for all He has in store for the conference.

We are placed to report that after some delay, Charles and Pam arrived in Ecuador on July 20th!

The work continues to march on and the Lord is working in powerful ways.  Pam reports: “today as we were leaving a school, we realized some of the team was not on our bus….they stayed behind because two young men ask them ‘How can we be saved?’ Praise the Lord… Yes, Lord, you are the author of salvation and we praise your name for using us, clay pots in your hands!!”

Please praise the Lord with them and continue to pray that His name is lifted up as they labor for the Kingdom.

Daniel and the Global Encounters team are in Ecuador partnering with the local church there for the advancement of the Gospel.

Charles and Pam will be joining the team on Friday for Vision4Living’s Family Leadership Conference that will be taking place next week.

Please continue to pray that the Lord would raise up worshipers for Himself in the land of Ecuador through their labors.
